2009 - Carol Munday continues to enthusiastically share her creative skills with the students. Grades Prep through to 6 are enjoying their weekly art lessons, and during the year will be learning the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) for art along with Mrs Munday's Art Program, outlined below:

Term 1: Drawing / Collage
Term 2: Construction / Painting
Term 3: Printing / Threads & Textiles
Term 4: Modelling / Painting & Collage

So far this year students have:

• Learnt about patterns
• Made emergency vehicles from coloured squares
• Designed a safety poster
• Made a 3D diorama
• Decorated their art folios
• Created a Chinese Dragon
• Learnt about tracing
• Used food dye to decorate
• Drawn sea shells watercolours
• Created shadow effects

A current project involves students in designing and constructing a scarecrow for our vegie garden! Photos soon when our scarecrow is completed and named.
